These Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply to your use of the SauriVehicle website and to general enquiries submitted through it. A specific quotation, service agreement, invoice, inspection scope or other written project document may contain additional terms. If there is a conflict, the accepted project-specific document controls for that project.

1. About SauriVehicle

SauriVehicle provides China-side vehicle sourcing, supplier comparison, independent inspection coordination, purchase and export preparation, and shipping coordination for overseas buyers. The exact role, deliverables and handoff point are defined for each project.

Unless a written agreement expressly states otherwise, SauriVehicle is not the vehicle manufacturer, ocean carrier, destination customs broker, insurer, lender or destination-country vehicle dealer.

2. Using This Website

You may use this website for lawful business enquiries and information. You must not attempt to interfere with the website, submit malicious material, impersonate another person, scrape the site in a way that disrupts it, or use its content for fraud, misrepresentation or unlawful activity.

Website articles, cases, guides and indicative examples are general information. They are not a binding offer, legal advice, tax advice, customs advice or a guarantee that the same vehicle, price, route or outcome is available for another project.

3. Project Scope and Approval

Before work begins, the parties should confirm the available vehicle information, requested services, fees, payment schedule, key assumptions and any exclusions. Vehicle purchase, optional work, material scope changes and other significant commitments require the buyer’s written approval or another agreed form of confirmation.

Requests outside the confirmed scope may require a revised quotation, additional time or a separate third-party fee.

4. Buyer Responsibilities

The buyer is responsible for:

  • providing accurate contact, company, vehicle, destination and use information;
  • reviewing quotations, inspection findings, specifications and approvals carefully;
  • making decisions and payments within the agreed time;
  • confirming destination-country import eligibility, taxes, duties, licences, homologation, registration and local clearance requirements;
  • appointing any required destination customs broker or local agent; and
  • not using supplied documents, images or information for unlawful or misleading purposes.

5. Vehicle Information and Availability

Vehicle listings, specifications, mileage, condition, prices and availability may come from suppliers or other third parties and can change. SauriVehicle will make reasonable efforts within the agreed scope to clarify and verify important information, but no vehicle is reserved or purchased until the required approval and payment conditions are met.

The exact model, trim, production year, condition, included equipment and export suitability must be confirmed against the specific vehicle or order.

6. Inspections and Technical Findings

An inspection reflects the vehicle’s accessible condition at the inspection time and within the agreed scope. Basic, comprehensive, diagnostic, battery and specialist checks provide different levels of evidence.

Inspections may not reveal hidden defects, intermittent faults, inaccessible components, future failures, fraud that cannot reasonably be detected, or problems outside the agreed method. A report supports a buying decision but is not a manufacturer warranty or a guarantee of future performance.

7. Quotations, Fees and Payments

Prices shown in articles or cases are examples unless identified as a current project quotation. A project quotation should state the currency, included services, known third-party costs, validity period and payment terms.

The buyer is responsible for bank charges, exchange-rate differences, destination charges and taxes unless expressly included. Estimated third-party costs may change when suppliers, ports, carriers, authorities or routes change their charges.

Once approved work, inspection, purchase, transport, documentation or booking has begun, related fees and third-party costs may be non-refundable to the extent already incurred or committed.

8. Purchase, Preparation and Export

SauriVehicle coordinates the agreed China-side steps based on the buyer’s approval. Repairs, refurbishment, accessories, conversions, software changes or special preparation are performed only when separately confirmed and may involve third-party providers.

Export documentation and procedures depend on the vehicle, transaction, port and applicable rules. Changes required by suppliers, carriers or authorities may affect cost and timing.

9. Shipping and Delivery

Sailing dates, transit times, port arrival dates and loading plans are estimates until confirmed by the relevant carrier or service provider and may change because of weather, congestion, equipment, customs, route changes or other operational events.

Risk transfer, cargo insurance, delivery point, destination clearance and claims procedures should be stated in the project documents. The buyer should arrange appropriate insurance where it is not expressly included.

10. Third-Party Providers

Projects may require suppliers, inspectors, repair workshops, inland carriers, warehouses, customs service providers, freight forwarders, ocean carriers and other independent parties. SauriVehicle coordinates them within the agreed scope but does not control every act, omission, schedule or policy of an independent provider.

Where reasonably possible, SauriVehicle will communicate material third-party issues and help the buyer understand available next steps.

11. Cancellations and Changes

A cancellation or material change should be sent in writing as soon as possible. The buyer remains responsible for work already completed and non-cancellable commitments made with approval. Any refund or credit depends on recoverable amounts, completed work and the accepted project terms.

12. Intellectual Property

The SauriVehicle name, website design, original text, guides, graphics and project presentation materials are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may save or print reasonable copies for your own business evaluation, but may not republish, sell, remove attribution from or present the content as your own without written permission.

Vehicle brands and third-party materials belong to their respective owners. Their appearance does not imply endorsement unless expressly stated.

13. Confidentiality and Privacy

Each party should protect non-public commercial, pricing, supplier and project information received from the other and use it only for the relevant business purpose, except where disclosure is authorised or required by law.

Our handling of personal information is described in the Privacy Policy.

14. Disclaimer and Liability

SauriVehicle will perform agreed services with reasonable care. Except for obligations expressly accepted in writing or rights that cannot legally be excluded, the website and general information are provided without warranties of uninterrupted access, availability, exact market outcome or fitness for an unspecified purpose.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, SauriVehicle is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, lost profit, lost resale opportunity or business interruption arising from website use or a project. Any aggregate liability relating to an affected service will not exceed the service fees paid to SauriVehicle for that affected service. This limitation does not apply where liability cannot lawfully be limited, including fraud or wilful misconduct.

15. Events Beyond Reasonable Control

Neither party is responsible for delay or failure caused by events reasonably beyond its control, including natural disasters, war, epidemic, government action, port closure, carrier disruption, customs delay, power or communications failure, or widespread supply interruption. The affected party should communicate the impact and resume performance when reasonably possible.

16. Governing Law and Disputes

Unless a project-specific agreement states otherwise, these Terms are governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China. The parties should first try to resolve a dispute through good-faith discussion. If it cannot be resolved, either party may bring the dispute before a court with jurisdiction at SauriVehicle’s place of registration, subject to any mandatory law that applies.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms when our services, website or legal requirements change. The current version and effective date will be posted on this page. Changes do not rewrite an already accepted project agreement unless the parties agree.
