Customer Request
In January 2026, a customer in Ghana asked SauriVehicle to source two used buses with Coaster-style bodywork. The order arrived shortly before Chinese New Year, when factories, parts suppliers and logistics providers were beginning to close. The buyer required full repainting, customer logo application, five additional seats, large roof luggage racks and export coordination to Tema Port.
What We Checked
The SauriVehicle team travelled to Zhengzhou, Henan, a major bus trading centre, and visited eight suppliers in person. The sourcing review compared the available buses and the suppliers' ability to complete the required work before the holiday shutdown.
- Available models and Coaster-style exterior appearance
- Original vehicle condition, including the entrance area and seat upholstery
- Required repainting, customer branding, five additional seats and roof luggage racks
- Workshop capacity and schedule for expedited customisation
- Tyre stock, local delivery and loading space inside the buses
What We Found
The Zhengzhou supplier visits identified two used buses that matched the required Coaster-style appearance and operating needs. Most local repair and modification workshops had already stopped work for the holiday, but one large facility still had the capacity to accept an expedited schedule.
One week before Chinese New Year, the buyer added a tyre order and asked for the tyres to be loaded inside the buses to reduce the combined sea-freight cost. Available tyre stock and local transport were both limited, so confirmed inventory and overnight delivery were required to keep the project on schedule.
Decision & Result
SauriVehicle selected the two buses and coordinated a full repaint, customer logo application, five additional seats and large roof luggage racks. After the late tyre request, the team secured in-stock tyres, arranged overnight transport to Zhengzhou and loaded the tyres inside the buses. The completed buses and tyres were then shipped by sea from Lianyungang, China, to Tema Port, Ghana.
Buyer Outcome
The two customised buses and the additional tyres arrived in Ghana for customer acceptance. During the post-delivery inspection, the buyer found a damaged door lock on one bus. SauriVehicle verified the issue, purchased a replacement lock and covered the full international air-freight cost to Ghana so the repair could be completed promptly.
