Customer Request
A long-standing customer in Nigeria asked SauriVehicle to source a 2019 Jetour X90 1.5T. Her previous purchases through us included apartment renovation supplies and several solar energy storage battery systems.
This car sourcing project covered vehicle checks, repair coordination and onward shipping arrangements.
What We Checked
The Jetour X90 showed no apparent issues during the initial check and was transported to our warehouse. While the vehicle was at the warehouse, our team noticed that one wheel appeared tilted.
We took the vehicle to a Tuhu Auto Service Workshop for further inspection of the wheel and suspension. The workshop carried out the technical diagnosis.
Critical Finding
The Jetour X90's pre-repair wheel-alignment display showed a right-rear reading of 00°13′ (13 arcminutes), highlighted in red. The workshop identified a damaged shock absorber assembly as the cause of the wheel-position problem.
The issue had not been identified during the initial check. It was detected at the warehouse and investigated before the onward shipment was arranged.
Decision & Result
For the Jetour X90, we arranged replacement of all the vehicle's shock absorbers and control-arm bushings with new parts, along with engine maintenance, to address the concern before shipment.
The repair and maintenance work cost approximately RMB3,400. SauriVehicle covered the full amount; none of this expense was passed on to the customer.
Buyer Outcome
After the Jetour X90's shock absorbers and control-arm bushings had been replaced and engine maintenance completed, we arranged car shipping to Nigeria. The vehicle was shipped in the same container as the customer's other goods, helping her save on freight costs.
