Jaguar unveiled the Type 01 on October 7 as its first production electric four-door GT under the brand’s new design direction. The four-seat flagship uses three motors and all-wheel drive, producing 1,030 hp. Jaguar states 0–100 km/h in 3.2 seconds, a 118 kWh battery and up to 724 km of range.
Exterior design and four-seat layout
The Jaguar Type 01 uses a broad, upright front section with a closed grille and matrix LED headlamps containing high-definition projection units. Jaguar offers 23-inch two-tone aerodynamic wheels as standard, with 21-inch wheels available as an alternative.

The Type 01 has four integrated seats in a low GT seating position. A Central Spine runs from the dashboard through the rear cabin, separating the interior into four individual spaces.

Cabin displays and equipment
The Jaguar Type 01 cabin centres on a 24-inch OLED display combining the instrument panel and infotainment functions. A 7-inch secondary screen sits between the front occupants, while another display beneath the windscreen functions as a digital rear-view mirror.

Interior materials are inspired by natural travertine and use brass-effect metal across the Central Spine and upper door trim. The source lists the following cabin equipment:
- Natural-language voice control for mirrors, steering wheel, lighting and charging functions
- Apple CarPlay and Android Auto
- Wireless phone charging and an in-car Wi-Fi hotspot
- A Meridian audio system
- Hot-stone massage for the front seats
