AIVA has unveiled the ME7, its first production vehicle, at a global debut. The coupe-style SUV is positioned for China’s mainstream market above RMB 200,000. AIVA is a new AI vehicle brand from Saidou Technology, and its name stands for “Artificial Intelligence Voyage Ahead,” expressing the idea of AI accompanying users on their journey.

Coupe-style SUV design

The ME7’s exterior features include:

  • Headlamps that support lighting messages
  • Air channels and muscular lines on the bonnet
  • A roof-mounted lidar unit
  • A rising side waistline and fastback roof
  • A wide rear body with a large lower surround and spoiler
  • Driver-assistance indicator lights around the body

AI partnership and production

AIVA has announced a partnership with Volcano Engine to define, design and develop its AI vehicle experience. Volcano Engine will provide the brand with Doubao large-model and smart-cockpit technology services to support in-car interaction. The ME7 will be produced at the Seres Phoenix factory.
