Fangchengbao will launch the Formula S and Formula S GT on September 16. Reservations are already open at RMB 230,000–280,000. The Formula S series is the brand’s first passenger-car line and consists of a midsize-to-large electric sedan and shooting-brake model. Both will be offered with rear- or all-wheel drive.
How do the Formula S models differ?
The Fangchengbao Formula S and Formula S GT share the brand’s Life Metal Aesthetics design language but use different body styles. Both have a closed front grille, polygonal headlights and a full-width lower intake, giving the two models a streamlined appearance.

The announced exterior colours are:
- Technology Silver
- Fashion Green
- Dynamic Yellow
- Modern Red

A dynamic waistline and semi-hidden door handles run along the sides. At the rear, both models use smoked diamond-shaped taillights with the Fangchengbao logo in the centre, plus a small ducktail spoiler and lower diffuser. Their rear designs are broadly similar, with styling differences between the sedan and shooting brake.
What dimensions and outputs are listed?
The Fangchengbao Formula S and Formula S GT share a 2,960 mm wheelbase. The sedan is longer at 5,060 mm, while the shooting brake is listed with two possible length and height figures. Rear-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive versions are planned for both models.
